App explainer video
Booking a tee time, explained in ninety seconds. A sunny flat-character explainer for the Fairway Loop app.

Overview
Fairway Loop had a great app and a signup problem: nobody could tell what it did in under a minute. We gave them a golfer with legs for days, a course built from three confident shapes, and a script that lands one idea per swing.
The film lives on their homepage and in onboarding emails. Signup completion rose after launch — but we'll let their product team keep the exact numbers.
What the video entails
Three chapters — find a course, book in two taps, play more — each ending on a real screenshot redrawn in the film's style, so viewers recognize the app instantly.
- Script tightening and three-beat structure
- Character and world design in brand colors
- Full 2D animation with UI screen redraws
- Voiceover casting, direction and mix
- Cut-downs for ads, onboarding and social
How we made it
We storyboarded to the scratch voiceover and tested the storyboards on five non-golfers. Anything they couldn't repeat back got cut. Only then did we animate — which is why ninety seconds never drags.
