3D emojis
Shiny, squishy and weirdly emotional. A full 3D emoji cast for Mellowcast, launched with a forty-five-second pile-on.

Overview
Mellowcast's brief was deliciously simple: make emojis feel expensive. We sculpted a cast of glossy faces with real subsurface squish, gave each one a two-frame personality — the winker, the starer, the one who's seen things — and dropped them into a pile for the launch film.
The set ships as stickers, avatars and a looping promo, all tuned to match the launch film's lighting.
What the set entails
Twelve hero faces plus variants, each delivered as a turntable-approved model, 2D sticker exports with die-cut guides, and the launch pile-on film.
- Twelve hero emoji sculpts with variants
- Glossy look-dev: subsurface, clearcoat, squish
- Forty-five-second launch film and loops
- Sticker exports with die-cut guides
- Avatar crops and social reaction pack
How we made it
Gloss is unforgiving: every lump shows. We sculpted at 6K, then deliberately dented each face by hand so the pile reads soft, not plastic. Lighting is one big softbox and a yellow bounce — the same setup for all twelve, which is why the family matches.
