Overview

Redline Arc's brief was a mood, not a plot: show the city's last working phone booth, make it feel like hope and a trap at the same time, and never show a character. We built a rain-slicked ruin in full 3D, lit almost entirely by the booth itself, and let one slow camera push do the talking.

The teaser closed their reveal stream. The booth is now the game's key art — which tells you the forty seconds did their job.

What the teaser entails

A single continuous shot from ridge to glass door, with volumetric red glow, drifting ash, and a sound bed that drops to silence on the final title hit.

  • Environment design: ruined district, hero booth
  • Single-shot cinematography and previz
  • Volumetric lighting, rain and ash simulation
  • Title treatment and end-card lockup
  • Master plus vertical and bumper cut-downs

How we made it

Light is the whole performance here. We blocked the scene with a single practical light — the booth — then added exactly two rim sources and stopped. The ash is a simple particle loop; the rain is geometry, not post, so it catches the red glow correctly on every drop.
